Video Sales Raise Funds for Children's Hospice

Earlier this year (2012) we attended the home of football (in Matt’s opinion!), Villa Park, for the Premier League match between Aston Villa v Sunderland.

There we were lucky enough to step onto the hallowed turf and hand over a cheque to David Strudley, CEO of Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Our donation was the result of successful video sales, generated by filming some charity matches held at Villa Park, before then selling on the DVDs of the games to the players – with (of course!) 100% of the profits going to the hospice.

With the help of Aston Villa and the players we managed to raise £505.05 for the Hospice, which David was delighted about Рas, of course, were we!

Speaking about the day, Matt said: “It was wonderful to be able to set foot on the playing surface at Villa Park, and to meet David who puts his heart and soul into Acorns.

“Most importantly however was being able to help Acorns, who rely on donations. We’re delighted that the money we generated from the video sales have gone to such a fantastic cause.”
