Animation Video Explainer
When an independent charity approached us regarding the creation of an animation video, we were only happy to help!
Field Studies Council (FSC) is a registered charity, based in Shropshire, committed to helping people of all ages understand and be inspired by the natural world.
To do this, they provide educational opportunities in the great outdoors across their network of learning locations found throughout the UK.
Each year, over 140,000 learners get the chance to access the variety of offerings provided by FSC, such as:
- Natural history courses
- Family holidays
- Professional training courses for educators
- Identification guides
- Free to use resources
and, primarily, “outside the classroom” learning experiences for students of all ages.
After meeting with the team at FSC and learning about their good work in more detail, we were delighted to work on a project with them regarding an animation video.
Our video was to be an effort which would assist in hitting these objectives:
- Promote FSC’s variety of offerings
- Attract more schools, colleges, and universities to FSC
- Showcase the benefits for students FSC can offer
- Retain FSC’s current customers
- Be visually stimulating and accessible to children
For this, we decided that an animation video was the right way to go about things.
Our video – which you can see above – follows our animated characters as they leave the classroom and venture out into the countryside to take part in FSC provided activities.
Through these experiences, our characters show the benefits they can bring for students and teachers alike, particularly in an exam setting when prior practical “doing” can contribute towards theoretical knowledge!
Our animation concludes with real feedback from students – helping to emphasise how FSC experiences are not only educational but fun, too.
We really enjoyed working with FSC on this project and felt that our animation was a cracker – even if we do say so ourselves!
Agree with our verdict, and think our animation video looks good?
