Talent Match Event
Our video production services were called into action thanks to a request from an initiative funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
March 2017 saw the hosting of a Strategic Partner Conference by the Talent Match Black Country project – a five year project supporting young adults between 18-29 who have been out of work, training or education for at least 6 months and who require additional support to overcome specific barriers to employment.
The conference – held at The Hawthorns Stadium, home of West Bromwich Albion FC – was titled “No One Left Behind”, and aimed to acknowledge the current challenges surrounding the youth employment landscape, particularly in the coming “post-Brexit” years.
The team at Talent Match Black Country approached us regarding the creation of a short highlights video of the conference, based upon footage we took on the day itself.
Our highlights video – which you can view above – was created to provide a visually interesting taster of the day’s events.
The video includes snippets of speeches from the day’s guest speakers – including Ian Austin MP and the BBC’s Home Editor Mark Easton – and references the positive SROI (Social Return on Investment) figure of £1.31 for every £1 spent that the Talent Match project has generated.
Our video concluded with a close-up of “the big picture”, a 2m by 1m creation designed by artist Laura Brodrick to graphically record the proceedings taking place on the day.
