University of Wolverhampton Hyperlapse Video
In recent years the University has been striving to extend their reach beyond their City campus in the heart of Wolverhampton, to encourage prospective students from across the region to undertake their studies with them.
As such, the University now has a presence in areas away from Wolverhampton, such as Walsall and Telford, and facilities for businesses away from the city centre at the innovative Wolverhampton Science Park.
Our hyperlapse videos were designed to provide an overview of the various University campuses – both inside and out – in a visually stimulating way and informative way.
We used the hyperlapse method (a technique where we change the position of the camera between each exposure to create a tracking shot) to give our videos the visual appeal, and then added text on screen to provide information about the facilities.
The University’s state-of-the-art-facilities are spread across their campuses, and include:
- The Arena Theatre
- The Workplace
- Mary Seacole Building
- The Gateway @ The George
- Rosalind Franklin Building
- Performance Hub
- Walsall Sports Centre
- Jerome K Jerome Building
- William Penny Brookes Building
- SC Building
- Hutchison Building
Wolverhampton Science Park
- Technology Centre
- Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre
- Caparo Innovation Centre
Our compilation video of all four campuses can be seen above, whilst each individual video can be viewed on our YouTube channel.
This project was a lot of fun to work on, and as graduates of the University ourselves we’re always keen to assist them as much as we can with our videos.
Think a hyperlapse video looks good, and would like one of your own to show off your business facilities? We’re sure we can help, so drop us a line today.
