How to explain a service using video

It’s not the easiest thing in the world to explain a service. Most organisations will have a service or product that’s entirely unique to them, which might not be the most straightforward thing.

If people ask a lot of questions about it, or you spend a lot of time explaining it, that might be a signal for you to save a lot of time by providing all the answers in a short, engaging video.

If you want to explain a service or product, using video is by far the most effective way to do so, in fact, videos get more than 1200% more shares than images and text combined. With an explainer video, you can ensure all of the necessary information is in there, rather than risking forgetting about anything if you haven’t had your morning coffee.

2. Find a studio that you can work with to create your explainer video. Be sure to look at their previous work to get an idea of their style and see if it matches your vision for the video. Have a dig around their about page and try to figure out if you’d get on with their team and work well together. If they’ve shown that they can explain a service well, get in touch!

3. Work with the studio to create a high-quality explainer video that accurately represents your business. This includes providing them with your script and any other relevant information they may need.

4. Once the explainer video is complete, post it on your website and social media pages. Potential customers can then learn more about your business. You can also use it in marketing campaigns or email newsletters to drive traffic back to your site. If your existing clients aren’t aware of a specific service or product, use the video to advertise it!
