Have a preference regarding the nature of your video? Different types of video production can solve different problems, which is why we’re not one trick ponies – we can turn our hand to all manner of different types of video, including animation and live streams amongst others.
Once you’ve settled on the type of video, think about the required length your video will need to be. If it’s going on your social media channels (see here for an example) it’ll need to be brief – 33% of viewers will stop watching a video after its first 30 seconds has elapsed! (AdAge)
Why are video productions so important for organisations? It’s because they help to solve problems. Primarily, your video production needs to serve a purpose and it needs to tackle a problem you’ve identified as one you want to get rid of.
You probably already know how your organisation perceives itself and its standard tone of voice. It’s really important that any video production of yours reflects this – don’t talk in the wrong language to your target audience!
Thinking about the budget you have should be prominent in your mind throughout the video production process.
We can cater for different budget levels and we think all our video productions are certainly value for money, but it’s just common sense to be realistic about your budget when considering what video you want to create.
Remember though, videos are only “expensive” if they don’t get results – and we have a proven track record of getting results!
Who is your target audience, and what kind of video would they want to see? If you do have a niche market, think about them! Make sure your video works as effectively as possible for your organisation!
Consider whether there are any existing videos out there (either created by us or others) that you’d like your video to emulate.
Finding an existing video which you love can really help you to understand what your video will consist of, how it will play out, and how it will eradicate the problem you want it to.
Our videos are created with positive impact in mind – such as this fundraising video we made for the charity Compton Care in 2018.
Designed to be at the forefront of its “Christmas isn’t Cancelled” campaign, our video assisted the organisation in raising a staggering £100,000 – money which would make a tangible difference to the lives of those the charity supports.
Trelleborg needed a business promo video all about one of their particular tyres.
Our solution was to show the tyres in action. We headed down to St Austell in sunny Cornwall to capture a variety footage including aerial video and ground footage.
It was then edited to a high energy music track for Trelleborg to use as part of their promotional campaign to potential customers.
The aim of this project was to show the lifestyle of postgraduate students from the University of Wolverhampton with a high end video to help with their marketing campaigns.
We sourced eight actors, five locations and up to 30 extras for this project.
We produced a number of different edits to be used in a range of social and email marketing campaigns.
This project was to highlight the work Briggs Equipment had done at a depot as part of its partnership with Marston’s.
We captured a lot of different footage including indoor aerial video, ground footage, product shots, and a testimonial interview.
Briggs Equipment used this case study video to demonstrate their abilities to target new customers.
