There are 3 types of live streaming:
TYPE ONE – IN-PERSON
This is where you set up in a physical venue, have presenters, speakers and hosts all on a stage, talking to a virtual audience who could be watching anywhere in the world.
Participants on the stream might physically present on stage, or join via video call, so they can talk to the host of the event or do their own presentation.
Somewhere this could be used is an awards event, a graduation ceremony or conferences.
TYPE TWO – HYBRID
The second type of live stream is often referred to as hybrid. Similarly to the first type of live stream, we set up in a physical location but add the layer of an audience in the room. For something like this, we would then have to consider adding extra sound and visual requirements, such as loud speakers and extra tv screens for the audience in the room.
Hybrids are also ideal for awards, graduations and conferences, but allow you to have an audience in the room.
TYPE THREE – VIRTUAL
The third type of live stream is going completely virtual. We have no physical presence and we can stream your virtual event from our offices in Wolverhampton. All speakers, presenters and hosts appear via video call, which we can then run through our software and then push out again through a ‘virtual stage’. We’ve used this variation to have participants calling in from across the world. Conferences with a global or national audience are ideal for virtual live streams.

OUR Live Streaming Video Service WORK
The live streaming team helped an Alumni team bring an in-person awards event online to reach an international audience.
The livestream involved creating a stage setup to impress the audience in the room, making sure the audience at home enjoyed the experience too.
The Alumni team were extremely pleased with what we achieved both in-person and online.
The University of Wolverhampton were looking to celebrate and send off the British Judo team taking part in the Tokyo Olympics.
For this live streaming project, we created a set in a sports hall using, staging, backdrops and lighting creating an impressive atmosphere
We were able to ‘go live’ to The British Judo by using an additional live link setup back to the main room.

We were tasked with live streaming a virtual university open day, with a mixture of in-person and online contributors.
This live stream allowed the university to still hold an ‘open day’ for anyone unable to make it onto campus.
