Our Brief

We were asked to illustrate the cutting-edge research on Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) into accessible, engaging, and informative research animations for the University of Wolverhampton. The project aimed to disseminate crucial findings in a format that resonates with a broader audience.

Our task was to create a series of three 60-second animations, each distilled from extensive university research on GDM. The animations were designed to provide essential insights into this condition, aiding in awareness and understanding.

University Research Animations

The project began with a script provided by the client which was then rigorously reviewed by our team to ensure accuracy and clarity. Following this, we developed detailed written storyboards, translating complex research data into visual narratives.

The creation of bespoke graphics was a critical step, involving the design of imagery that was both scientifically accurate and visually appealing. This was followed by the animation process, where these graphics were brought to life, effectively conveying the message.

The most impactful element, however, was the inclusion of voiceovers by GDM patients, lending authenticity and a personal touch to the animations.
