Animated Explainer Video

UK Quality Code for Higher Education
QAA
Our Brief

We were approached by the agency that checks the standards of higher education in the UK for an animated explainer video all about one of its industry-leading reference tools!

Formed in 1997, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) is a non-profit organisation created to “safeguard standards and improve the quality of UK higher education wherever it is delivered around the world”.

As part of this commitment to help higher education providers hit the required standards, QAA is the developer (on behalf of the UK Standing Committee for Quality Assessment) of the UK Quality Code for Higher Education.

This Code is a key reference point for HE institutions across the country, and is a document - created in consultation with the sector - to enable providers to understand what is expected of them and what to expect from each other.

UK Quality Code for Higher Education

To help them introduce the latest version of the Quality Code and explain how it is formed, the team at QAA turned to us for the creation of an animation designed to do those very things!

For this project we were asked to create a three minute video which would sit on the webpage dedicated to the Quality Code on the QAA website.

As you can see above, our animated explainer video takes time to explain what the Quality Code is, how the Expectations, Practices, and Advice and Guidance sections within it fit together, and how each element should be used by providers across the UK.

Backed by a professional voice-over and upbeat background music, we think our animation was the perfect thing to achieve our aims for this brief – and we hope you do too!
