Drone Video

We teamed up with JPE Aggregates for a drone video regarding their waste management process at one of their quarries.

JPE are licensed waste carriers, meaning they are permitted to provide waste management in accordance with the Government’s waste hierarchy.

They have gained a reputation for being leaders in delivering earth and aggregate solutions, and have been involved in many of the leading projects in the Midlands area, such as the Black Country Route and the M6 Toll Road.

JPE approached us regarding the work they do at their Shire Oak Quarry, situated in Walsall.

They were keen for a video which would illustrate the process the company have put in place at the quarry – with regards to the way that they take in waste, recycle it, before re-using it as aggregate elsewhere.

We decided that the best way to tackle this project would be by creating a drone video – filming from the skies with our drone, before taking this footage and adding a voice-over to it to drive the narrative of the video.

We descended on the quarry, with our drone, and set about filming the fantastic facilities based there.

As you can see in our video above, these facilities include weigh-bridges, recycling areas, and wash plants.

Once we had our footage, it was back to the office, where we were able to add a handful of motion graphics to the video, and include the professional voice-over.

For this project, we concentrated on explaining the processes at the quarry as easy to understand as possible.

The average person might know what a waste management firm do, but not how they do it – so we had to illustrate that clearly and simply!

We always enjoy letting our drone loose on the skies, and this project was no exception.

We’d like to thank JPE for their assistance with this project, and for giving us the opportunity to film at the quarry.
