We joined forces with an educational council to create an event animation for one of its popular conferences!
Friday 18th May saw the 2018 instalment of the West Midlands School Leaders conference – an event held to inspire, motivate, and encourage school leaders from all walks of educational life.
Organised by the West Midlands offshoot of the Teaching Schools Council (TSC West Midlands), the event attracted senior educational leaders and decision makers from across the country to tackle the issues surrounding the school leadership system today.
For the 2018 edition of the annual conference – which was held at the Chateau Impney Hotel & Exhibition Centre in Worcestershire and was hosted by BBC Midlands Today presenter Mary Rhodes – we were asked by the team at TSC West Midlands if we could create an animation for them which would kick the event off in style!
For this project, our animation team were tasked with creating an animated effort which would highlight the achievements of the West Midlands School-Led System – an initiative designed to encourage schools to be autonomous and accountable for their own improvement.
Once we had received the relevant information from the client we set about creating the animation which you can watch above.
As you can see, we decided that motion graphics and kinetic typography were the way to go for this one, with the relevant achievements of the System since 2010 highlighted with moving text and engaging animations – techniques backed up by some pretty funky music!
Our animation team were delighted to be given the opportunity to create an effort which opened up the event, and our thanks go to TSC West Midlands for approaching us for this one!

Like our event animation, and think a conference you’re holding could do with one of its own?
If so, we’re absolutely positive that we can help!
