Motion Graphics Video

We joined forces with University College Birmingham (UCB) for a motion graphics video regarding their ‘clearing’ process.

‘Clearing’ is the annual route into university for those students who either don’t have an existing offer from a university or have missed the targets set for offers they do have.

Every year tens of thousands of students find a place on a university course in the United Kingdom through clearing, with it becoming a prominent way for universities to fill any spaces they have left for the new academic year in the process.

One such university who understands the importance of clearing for both themselves and for prospective students is UCB, located in the heart of the nation’s second city.

Formed under its current guise of UCB in 2007, the college currently serves over 8,000 students – over 1,000 of which are international students – on Higher Education, Postgraduate, and Further Education programmes.

UCB reached out to us regarding the creation of a motion graphics video which would provide prospective students with a guide to clearing and an insight into the process the college undertakes for those looking to enrol there.

Our video – which you can see embedded above – not only guides the viewer towards the college’s specialist clearing webpage, but also lists some of the areas of the courses on offer, such as…

  • Childhood Studies
  • Sport
  • Health & Social Care
  • Business & Marketing

…amongst others.

Backed by a professional voiceover and bespoke music, our video also assists the viewer regarding the post-application “next steps”, such as meeting the college’s staff and receiving a tour of facilities and accommodation.

As our video states, it really is as simple as that!
