We joined forces with an initiative designed to inspire students – and one very special guest(!) – for some promotional videos all about its offerings!
Based in the Fordhouses area of Wolverhampton, Medical Mavericks is a programme created to “inspire the next generation of medics and scientists by taking real medical and sports science equipment into schools, colleges, and events all over the UK.”
Medical Mavericks do this by offering workshops for all students from years 7-13 which are jam-packed with fun, educational activities designed to get the students thinking about careers in the medical sector.
To help showcase the great work the organisation does for young people in the community, the team at Medical Mavericks turned to us for some promotional videos which they could utilise in the future!
• Our work for this project was split into three different strands and thus three separate videos:
• An overview video showcasing some of the workshops Medical Mavericks offer in schools
• A “FAQ” video, where Medical Mavericks’ “Head Honcho” Tom tackles some of the questions the organisation get asked frequently
• A very special video highlighting the initiative’s “Challenge the Champions” offering
Our overview video for this project can be seen below.
For our “Challenge the Champions” video, we were absolutely thrilled to be given the opportunity to work alongside former Premier League footballer and current TV presenter Chris Kamara.
As you can see above, our video for this strand of the project sees “Kammy” put some young students through their paces to see how they measure up compared to the world’s greatest athletes.
It was a real thrill to have Chris Kamara in one of our videos, and it’s definitely something we never thought would happen – we guess you could say it was “unbelievable Jeff!”
Our thanks to Medical Mavericks for working with us on these fantastic videos. You can find out more about its great work on its website right here.
Enjoyed watching our promotional videos and think your organisation could do with some of its own to showcase what it can offer the local community?
If so, we know we can help!
