Professional Video Production

Student Paramedics Case Study
University of Wolverhampton
Our Brief

We joined forces with a higher education provider for a professional video production regarding a course it delivers in partnership with a regional Ambulance Service.

The Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing is one of four faculties based at the University of Wolverhampton – one of the largest universities in the West Midlands.

Based within this Faculty is the Institute of Health, which provides students the opportunity to study on a full-time BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science course.

Offered in association with the West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS), the course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to practice as a paramedic.

Student Paramedics Case Study

We were approached by the team at the University’s Institute of Health for the creation of a video designed to promote its course.

To tackle this brief, we travelled to the University’s Walsall Campus to meet and hear from the students currently studying on the course.

One such student was Fiona, who, in the video above, describes what it’s been like studying on the course and the practical experience she’s gained from the placement with WMAS.

OUR ADDITIONAL WORK

Alongside our two minute professional video production, we also created a number of 30 second videos ideal for the university’s social media channels.

These creations – two of which can be watched below – proved of huge benefit to the university, acting as a hook online to help attract interest in the course and even assisting it to sell out the course for that particular academic year.

These two shorter videos are both equipped with subtitles and were created to help promote the University’s upcoming Open Day.
