We extended our relationship with the University of Wolverhampton by creating a university course video showcasing one of its offerings in the world of psychology!
For this project, our brief was to communicate the benefits of the University’s MSc Cyberpsychology course for any prospective students looking to pursue a career in the field.
This course – offered on either a full-time (12 month) or part-time (2 years) basis – has been designed to provide students with insights into human interactions with the Internet and other digital technologies, and will allow them to apply their acquired knowledge post-university in industries such as education, online retail, and video gaming.
To tackle this brief, our video production team packed up their filming kit and headed to the course’s home – the University’s Institute of Sport and Human Science!
We felt that it was important that our video appealed to students from a diverse range of backgrounds, highlighted the importance of the course, and showcased the University’s impressive facilities in the process.
To achieve these aims our video – which you can watch above – is built around the thoughts of academics involved with the subject such as Dr Chris Fullwood and Dr Joanne Lloyd.
Capturing their thoughts provided prospective students with an opportunity to see and hear the academics they would be working with whilst studying on this course, and assist them in understanding why the course is of social importance.
In addition, we were pleased to include some thoughts from students currently on the course in our video, alongside immersive shots of the facilities on offer at the University.
We think our video was just the thing to promote this fascinating course, and we hope you do too!
