BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
As part of our ongoing work with the University, we were approached by the team in its Institute of Health (part of the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing) to produce a video regarding one of its courses.
The three-year BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy course allows students to study the biological, physical, clinical, and behavioural sciences related to the field, whilst also providing relevant training for those wishing to pursue a career in the area after their studies.
Upon successful completion of this course, students can apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council to practise as a physiotherapist.
We were asked to produce a video which showcased the benefits of studying this course at the University!
Our video features footage of the course in action through lectures and practicals, interspersed with thoughts from the University’s Head of Physiotherapy, Troy-Alexander Douglin, and senior lecturer Reena Patel.
It was important for us to be filming in an active learning environment so that prospective students could see footage of what life on the course is like – footage which would hopefully play its part in making them decide to study at the University themselves!
The tone and messaging of our two minute video – which you can watch above – is bright and lively, which reflects nicely in our interviews with current students who reflect positively on the course with their recommendations for potential new students.
Our thanks to the team at the Institute of Health for working with us on this video.
