We teamed up with Wolverhampton Wanderers FC for a hyperlapse video highlighting just how the offerings of a football club can extend further than the pitch!
Across the world – and particularly in Britain – a football club’s performance on the ‘hallowed turf’ is seen as a proud representation of the town or city it is based in, and of its supporters.
Away from the field of play, however, many clubs are now expanding their services to prove that they are “more than just a matchday” – offering much more to the community in the process.
This is particularly the case at Wolves FC, whose corporate team got in touch with us regarding the creation of a video designed to showcase the club’s non-football facilities.
To fulfil this brief, we decided that a hyperlapse video was the right way to go.
By creating a video using the hyperlapse method (a technique where we change the position of the camera between each exposure to create a tracking shot), we were able to showcase the facilities inside Molineux Stadium, in particular…
- The lounge area
- The dining rooms
- The meeting rooms
- The club museum
- The executive boxes
…and show how they can be used by fans, visitors, and business gatherings alike.
Filming for this project took place over different days throughout the season, and we’d like to thanks Wolves for allowing us to film inside Molineux Stadium and for their assistance throughout.
We know from our own experiences that the ground is a fantastic place to hold an event, and we can’t wait to go back there again soon!
Our hyperlapse video for this project is above, and more information about the club’s corporate arm can be found at http://www.corporatewolves.co.uk/
Think our hyperlapse video looks good, and one of your own would be ideal?
