Field Studies Council
Our Brief

We conducted a spot of video advertising for a charity who assist people in becoming inspired and educated by the natural world.

Field Studies Council (FSC) is an environmental education charity, committed to providing enjoyable opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to discover, explore, and understand the environment.

Each year over 140,000 people get to experience these opportunities through FSC, with many doing so at the charity’s UK-wide range of locations.

As part of its services, FSC is proud to offer primary school programmes for the young students in our country.

With the environment at the heart of everything it does, FSC’s programmes give visiting primary school children the chance to explore and learn in a fun, engaging manner by immersing themselves in the natural world and taking in its sights, sounds and smells.

With a proven track record in this area, FSC were keen to promote this service, and so turned to us for some video advertising to do just that.

For this project, we travelled to FSC site Preston Montford in Shropshire – as well as nearby Carding Mill Valley – to film a group of primary school students taking part in activities such as Mammal trapping, Pond dipping, Map reading, Bug hunting, River measuring and Field sketching.

In our video – which you can view above – we then accompanied these scenes with voice-overs from the children, as they tell the viewer what it was they did on the day and how much they enjoyed doing it.

The resulting video is one we’re really proud of, and we’d like to thank everyone – particularly the children – for their effort in making this video one to remember.
