Wolverhampton Wanderers Football club's official charity, Wolves Foundation, approached us to help them produce some award videos showcasing three winners at the inaugural Wolves Foundation Gala Dinner.
We focused on sharing the stories of, Taye, John Martin and Tayla Page, who picked up awards for their exceptional contribution to community projects in the Wolverhampton area.
The video team created three award videos each consisting of an interview and b-roll footage of the award winner in action.
For Taye's video, we interview his parent and coaches who have worked with Taye.
We captured b-roll footage of Taye in his home with his family and playing video games, as well as footage of him at the Wolves Foundation Arena playing football and socialising with friends.
With John's award video, we captured an interview with him at the Molineux football ground. For John's b-roll we filmed him around West Park on a social walk about with the Wolves Foundation team.
Tayla's award video consisted of an interview with their parent along with a series of photos to help tell the story of Tayla to the audience at the awards dinner.
Matt who helped to coordinate the project said:
We were thrilled to be asked to support the Wolves Foundation with their very first awards event. As a Wolverhampton business we are proud to support causes that make a difference in the communities we live and work. The award winners featured in the videos were worthy winners, It was an honour to be able to capture their stories for everyone to see.
We asked the Wolves Foundation senior communications officer Scott Brotherton for his thoughts:
A huge thank you to the Stone’s Throw Media team for supporting the Wolves Foundation awards. The videos perfectly capture our winners' stories and highlight the diverse projects across our communities that we support.
