Providing high-quality live event coverage ensures that key moments are accessible to audiences worldwide. Our recent project involved awards livestreaming for the University of Wolverhampton’s 2024 Alumni Awards Ceremony, bringing this prestigious event to a global audience via the university’s YouTube channel.
This awards livestreaming project was designed to cater to both in-person and virtual attendees. While a live audience was present in the venue, our expertly managed livestream ensured that international viewers could engage with the event in real time, no matter where they were watching from.
To create an immersive and visually appealing experience, we provided full staging and lighting solutions to enhance the atmosphere of the ceremony. Our setup included an array of LED lighting to set the mood and give a signature look to the awards ceremony. We also provided four strategically placed TVs to display videos and content within the room, ensuring a seamless experience for the in-person audience.
Accessibility was a core focus of the awards livestreaming production. To ensure inclusivity, we integrated live British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation as an overlay on the livestream. This allowed deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers to fully engage with the ceremony, demonstrating the university’s commitment to accessibility and inclusivity.
The result was a highly professional awards livestreaming experience that successfully connected the University of Wolverhampton’s alumni community, both in the venue and across the world. With high-quality visuals, seamless staging, and a strong focus on accessibility, this project stands as a testament to our expertise in delivering engaging and inclusive live event coverage.
