Our Brief
For this project we created a stationery product video for Maped Helix, highlighting their groundbreaking new product, the Oxford Vision – a maths set designed specifically for visually impaired users.
Stationery Product Video
We achieved the product shots by filming at our on-site studio, making sure we carefully captured each item in the Oxford Vision maths set. Our focus was on clearly demonstrating the details of every component, ensuring that potential buyers could see how the product is uniquely tailored to assist visually impaired users.
We used close-up shots to emphasise the product's accessible features, making it easier for viewers to understand how it meets the needs of its intended audience.
To add a personal and impactful narrative, we filmed a compelling case study featuring a visually impaired user. This story traced the journey of the Oxford Vision maths set, from an initial email inquiry to Maped Helix, through to the stages of design, testing, and final product delivery.
To authentically capture the user’s experience, we travelled to Brighton to film them using the product first-hand, allowing them to share how these adaptations have made maths sets more accessible and user-friendly for visually impaired individuals.
Stationery Product Video Accessibility
A key priority of this stationery product video was accessibility. To make the video as inclusive as possible, we incorporated strong contrasting colors for backgrounds and on-screen text.
Additionally, captions were carefully designed to be highly visible and easy to read, ensuring that all viewers, including those with visual impairments, could engage with the content.
The result was a highly effective stationery product video that not only showcases the innovative design of the Oxford Vision maths set but also tells a meaningful story of inclusion and accessibility. By blending product demonstration with a real user’s experience, Maped Helix now has a compelling marketing tool that highlights their commitment to creating inclusive educational products.
