We joined forces with the team at a regional apprenticeship hub for a comic book animation showcasing its achievements in 2018!
The evening of 15 November saw the fifth instalment of the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards – a lively and entertaining ceremony designed to celebrate the region’s young achievers over the previous 12 months.
Compered by TV presenter Angellica Bell, the awards ceremony took place at the Treetops Pavilion, West Midlands Safari Park, and featured over 300 guests – including 25 of the county’s best apprentices, apprenticeship employers, schools, and training providers.
As part of the evening’s entertainment, the hosts of the event – the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Hub – turned to us for the creation of a bespoke animation to be shown to the hundreds in attendance!
For this brief, we were asked to create an animation which not only promoted apprenticeships in Worcestershire as a whole, but which highlighted the Apprenticeship Hub’s achievements in 2018.
To do this, we were handed a collection of statistics by the Hub, which – as you can see in our effort above – we made visually stimulating for the audience through the use of motion graphics and typography.
On this note, we decided to make our video in the style of a comic book animation backed by engaging, upbeat music – perfect for the youthful audience in attendance!
Alongside creating this animation for the event we were also honoured to be invited by the team at the Apprenticeships Hub to film the evening’s celebrations.

Like our comic book animation, and think one of your own would be just the thing to bring some of your organisation’s achievements to life visually?
If so, you can see that we can help!
